[ he is simply the worst for using the tickle tactic on. even knowing this, he always fails to resist. eventually he lets up and rolls back to exactly where he was, grinning but otherwise reduced once again to being a limpet attached to his side.

[ Haru doesn't mind the proximity or leg entanglement. he's just glad the tickling nightmare is over. he really hates it, because it's like he's possessed when it's happening.
he shifts to get more comfortable, wondering if he should turn towards or away from Nagisa. his natural instinct is to turn on his side and away from him, but if he does that he'll fall asleep too quickly, and he wants to keep nagisa company until his eyes are shut. ]

now that that's all out of his system, and he's even gotten a little roughhousing in, he's as sedate as can be, other than the occasional wriggle until he's decidedly comfortable. it's hard for him to sleep without his arms around something, so grasping onto Haru and the pillow above their heads will have to do. whatever, he doesn't even care right now. he is enjoying the Sweet Smell Of The Ocean. ]

Haru doesn't even tense against the grab. he's used to personal space disappearing around Nagisa -- it was just something that happened. he wasn't sure what strategies Nagisa took that made him so compliant towards the affection when he'd stiffen up and bristle were it anybody else, but he's sure Nagisa got it from a war book.
he turns just a bit on his side, within Nagisa's grasp, but doesn't make a move to actually get away from him. ]
[ he studied tactics for years specifically to learn how to conquer Fort Haruka. when Haru turns, he relents enough to let him move freely and then latches back on, flipping the blankets up over them with his free hand and getting nice and comf right up against him. this is perfect, it's just like hugging the stuffed dolphin, only this is bigger and somehow less plush. ]
It's not my fault anyway, it's my sister's... anybody who says that urban legend about putting someone's hand in water when they're asleep isn't true never had it happen to them!

[ ... well, if any compliment could make Haru blush, it would be something like what Nagisa just said. hypothetically, of course. it's not as if he's actually blushing right now, and if he is at all, it's too dark to see and Nagisa has zero evidence and can't prove it and also can't see over his shoulders so there.
he rolls his shoulders just a bit, arching his back out more to get a bit more comfortable. he assumes Nagisa will just adjust his shape around him. ]

[ he does, thoroughly assimilating Haru into his full-body cuddle at a level he's never quite done to anything that wasn't a pillow, but treating it about the same. like he's a big, squishy pillow. a much warmer, more pliant sort of pillow. it never dawns on him i could get used to it because the fact is, he already is used to it. after Haru's done arching he mashes the side of his face back into his shoulders, shaking his head back and forth once or twice. ]
You could check on mom instead. I usually wake up on my own, and that's the first thing I do when it happens, so...
