He was sent flying too, while screaming, and even though he probably didn't go very far since he didn't jump on purpose, he was still screaming like he was going to die. His glasses achieved more liftoff than he did. Goodbye glasses.

How would they land? Rei just wanted to reach the ground, but also try to shield Nagisa from the impact of the hard surface.... He couldn't see anything due to his glasses taking off, so it was a blurry mess. How they landed, he wasn't even sure, but the ground definitely hurt his knees. ]}

[ Nagisa screams like a banshee as they sail like a double rainbow all the way across the sky (yeah, yeaaAAAHH; SO INTENSE), but he's screaming in joy and delight and not fear for his own life. and also laughing and acting like this kind of senseless attempted suicide is fun. sadly there's something to be said about jumping while attached to another man as opposed to flying solo, a harmless twig, and it does not do wonders for sticking the landing. he rolls a little in the air instead of landing smartly on his feet like he might normally, and the joy fades from his eyes mere moments before impact.

the upside is Rei's unsuspecting torso is there to break a good chunk of his fall, just not enough that he doesn't end up skidding his cheek in the dirt and getting sand in his hair. ]

Anyway, now Nagisa is off of him and crawling around to try to find his glasses of him and what does he do? He does the same thing as him, despite everything being blurry. How old were they, really? Rei jumps and looks excited once he heard that Nagisa found them.

Actually, it's impossible for your head to weigh more than your body, unless you have a certain kind of condition. Your weight is definitely in your body with your muscles, Nagisa-kun.

[ probably not. there's going to be some crawdads and mollusks and shit in there, maybe even an oyster with a pearl. his hair is a lot more dense than it looks, too, so getting down to the scalp is a journey in itself. but there won't be any sandy dog shaking this time because he is enjoying the attention way too much. attention whore. ]

Do we have to go back? I already had a shower earlier, [ during which time he cried from nervousness until they ran out of hot water ] and I'm not even tired. Besides, if we go home and go to bed, what if I wake up tomorrow and everything is all "normal" again and none of this ever happened?? I'd rather get lice and never sleep again!
